In September 2006 a prayer room was set up at the Vineyard centre. The room was set up to stimulate prayer and be a place to be in Gods presence and seek him, listening and praying. This is not how some of us usual pray - it was active, visual and creative but all intended to help us to hear from God and dedicate time to him.

People booked hour long slots that went from 7pm on Friday all the way to Saturday 7pm, a relay of prayer and seeking God.

So what did God do... loads of stuff both on an individual level and talking to the church and helping us to pray for our friends who do not know Jesus, the guys on the streets who we have met through reach out, being able to express who God is to us and also Prayer-o-planes.

Everyone who I have spoken to since who "did an hour" has a story to tell. A couple of people told their story on Sunday and if you missed it, you can listen again online. It's great praying, we want to see God move and he wants us to humble ourselves and seek his face (Isaiah).
