New to Vineyard

About Us

Wharfedale Vineyard is part of a national network of Vineyard churches in the UK and Ireland, and a wider international network. We are members of the Evangelical Alliance,  which unites thousands of mainstream churches in the UK. We have many links with other local churches in the area, and work together with them on common initiatives and events.

We have a vision and a set of values which we share with other Vineyard Churches.  We've written them in our own way - this doesn't take away from what they are, it can simply be likened to speaking the local dialect.

We operate within the legal framework of a registered charity and a limited company with a board of trustees who would be glad to tell you more if you are interested in finding out.

In 2006 we launched what is known as 'Steps'. The steps that we have taken recently include buying a building, taking Steps out of our comfort zone to talk to our friends about Jesus, and Building Bridges into the city we live in, for example with the Debt Advice centre.
