What is Deeper?

Deeper is a house group setting for a gathering of young people (yr10+) with the aim of discovering what it really means to be a Christian. We meet at Ian and Liz Harden's house in Horsforth on Sunday nights 7:30-9:30pm.
We dive deeper to get below the surface of superficial stereotypes of Christianity to discover the depths of a real relationship with God and with each other.

Deeper Mission Statement

Our mission at Deeper is to teach God's truth and equip young adults for the challenges of living their lives in a culturally relevant way, while uncompromisingly holding onto their faith. We aim to help them discover their identity in Jesus, their individual strengths and gifting in order to successfully fulfil their life's purpose.

Deeper is also an opportunity to dive into the depths of God's word exploring it's relevance today and why God wants to know young people; how He wants them to relate to Him and He to them; how they can worship Him and why they do: the purpose of prayer; why they meet together; what do they say to friends and family who don't know God; and how do they follow Jesus while remaining cutting edge and currrent.

We invite all young people to:

Bring your friends as they are, whoever they are, whatever their fails have been.

Be prepared to laugh, cry, eat food, try new things, meet new people,

hang out with some olds, have some days out and be real.
