Funky bunch
Funky Bunch is a group for children in years 4 to 6, ages 8 to 11.
The vision
We aim to make Funky Bunch a safe and fun place for children ages 8-11. We want to make it a place where the children can ask questions about faith and discover new things about their life. We aim to provide an environment to give the children opportunities to develop more of who they are. We encourage the children to pray for each other and find out ways that God can speak to them individually. Funky Bunch is a place where children develop their relationships with each other the leaders and Jesus.
What do we do
We meet upstairs in the B-block at Carr Manor on Sunday mornings. We chill out together to start, have some food play DVD’s and CD’s, we play games, read the bible do fun activities and pray for each other.
The children don’t have to participate in all the things we do but we encourage them to get stuck in as much as they want.
