Wild Side

Wild Side is the Sunday group for children in Years 2 and 3.

The Vision

Our vision in Wild Side is to see the children grow in their knowledge and experience of God, while they have fun.

What do we do

Most weeks we have a sharing time,followed by a discussion about the topic of the day or month eg. prayer and how it works in our lives. We are beginning to learn or sing known songs, and also learn and then rehearse and act out a memory verse. Our main activities in addition are a variety of bible focussed activities which often includes bible stories and games, but have included drama and will include puppets into the future. A key activity which takes place most weeks and enables us to consolidate what we do is arts and crafts. We would like to look at a trip or extra activities this year too, which give the children chance to get to know one another better, and perhaps to learn to serve together.It's a large group and a privilege to be part of leading so many children (20 on roll at present).
