Cameo

Cameo (Come And Meet Each Other) is a group for mature people in the Vineyard.

The Vision Is...

To have a group of older people, let's say mature, men and women who feel the need to share life together.

This takes the form of meeting once or twice a month, to have coffee and a chat but to also have social outings together i.e. theatre visits, museums, parks, flower shows..... Do invite your friends and family.

We also pray together and seek the Lords guidance on who we would reach out to in our community, such as helping out at Christmas time with a meal or a gift of food.

Dates for your Diaries

15 June - Golden Acre Park, meet at 11am at the Cafe for tea and bring a picnic lunch, and for those hale and hearty we will take a walk.
13 July - Temple Newsam, arrive for 12 noon, bring a picnic lunch, and we will view the house and take a stroll.
22 August - a trip to the seaside! leave at 9am, arrange a place to meet in Scarborough and then have a fish & chip lunch, don't forget your towel for a paddle, swimming costumes, and sun lotion.
21 September - a canal boat trip from Shipley, time to be confirmed.
19 October - bring and share, at Jean Carlisle's place at 12 noon
16 November - we felt it would be a good time to see a good film or show - we will wait to see what will be showing nearer the time.
December? - we discussed and felt it would be good to do a 'Christmas lunch for the needy' reach out any ideas?

Well there you have it and once again I can't stress it enough please if you know any one who is lonely or doesn't get out and about very much or they are disabled in any way we can make a plan to include them.
