Bonfire night - Roundhay Park Reach Out
Once again this year, Nik and Maggie's housegroup (and friends) gave away 1,000 free doughnuts at the fireworks display at Roundhay Park.
We turned up at 6:30pm with loads of doughnuts, then gave them away to all the people going to see the bonfire and fireworks, with a little card that said "Just wanted to say that God loves you".
Then we watched the fireworks together!
Our aim was to show people God's love in a very simple way. We just wanted to bless as many people as possible - no hidden agendas, no preaching, just Love in Action. |
