No trick, our treat
Nik & Maggie Gee's housegroup are inviting everyone to get involved with their alternative Halloween AOK (Act of Kindness) on 31 October 07.
'No trick, our treat' will involve giving away sweets & treats to the local residents in the streets near our house in Moortown.
We'll meet at ours just before 6pm, go out to treat our neighbours, then back to ours for tea & cake!
All the stuff needed will already be provided, so all you need to do is turn up and give away.
Why do we do this sort of stuff? The Vineyard church has been doing this event for years. It's a powerful way to bring the glory of God to houses and hearts of people by giving stuff away at a time when others are doing the exact opposite.
