Otis breakdances to victory at Revive

revive2007

Though not quite as sunny as in the advertising, Revive 2007, camping in a field near Long Marsden in North Yorkshire was a great success.  Wharfedale Vineyard breakdancer Otis Farnhill got an encore for his routine (watch video) and saw off acts from many other Vineyards to win top place in the Saturday afternoon talent competition.

There was of course a fine selection of worship and teaching in the large marquee, with percussive accompaniment from the rainstorms

There was a great community feel through sharing of meals.  Matt and Anne Button created enormous quantities of food for the young people and Frank and Beryl Watson created the most amazing fish and chips and bacon butties to keep the tent-erectors going (Isn't that tipi amazing?)

And there was a huge Hog Roast on Saturday evening
