Women of Wharfedale rock!

We have just returned from an amazing weekend with 46 of the women from church. I am so exhilarated and revived! Was it the 8kg in the chocolate fountains? Was it the flowing wine? Was it the drenching hail storm up on the moor? Nope it was spending time with some of the women from church; talking, sharing, crying, laughing and being with each other and God as ourselves!

Juliet Barber from Leicester Vineyard spoke with passion about Mary of Bethany and Mary Magdalene. We had wonderful times of worship and ministry and lots of time to chat, play, eat and relax. I feel that God has stirred many of our hearts to do more together, to share our stories, to connect with each other and through connecting to reach out to others. There were some awesome stories about what God is doing in our lives and a sense of being really able to be ourselves.

There are some great ideas about what to do next and we are busy planning and praying about more Women Rock events. We would love all the women of the church to be able to come to any of the events and will be keeping you posted in church and via the website.
