Come as you are
We welcome you to Wharfedale Vineyard. Full stop. You do not need to be anything. You don't need to be married with kids or teetotal, or employed or in good health and you certainly do not need to be holy. You can come from any background - religious, social, cultural or racial. Jesus accepts everyone as they are and we aim to do the same.
 No matter who you are, what you've done, or where you have been, we warmly invite you to come as you are and discover how to have an authentic relationship with the living God. We have no dress code, and no one will embarrass you by asking you to do something religious. This is a community where you can come as you are.
People come for a variety of reasons, ranging from those who are simply visiting to those who are actively looking for a church in which to settle. Wherever you find yourself, we would like you to know that you are welcome. We value diversity. We are a place where all are welcome: whether you're curious or convinced, disillusioned or envisioned, hurting or content. We believe that when we meet God we can all change for the better. He can restore you, set you free and He can heal you too. You can be made whole.
Our aim is to create an environment where newcomers and regulars can come as they are and encounter God, so that He can bring His healing and wholeness into our lives, however broken or messed up they may be. We hope that each person will discover an authentic relationship with the Living God - and that might mean that although we come as we are, we don't stay as we are.
