W3: Wharfedale Worship Workshop

W3, the Wharfedale Worship Workshop, is about developing community and developing skill . We will hold three a year and they will be there to develop a community of worshippers within Wharfedale Vineyard and also to help all of us develop in our musical skill and ability.

They will be crucial days in raising up a team that is broad enough to resource the future needs of Wharfedale Vineyard. They are open to anyone of any standard and will include fellowship, teaching and training.

W3 is intended to be a process that will grow organically with the Church and ensure there is always an ample supply of worship leaders and musicians to resource the Church’s activities. We need to keep our minds open to the broader needs in the future – not ‘one great band’, but ‘several great teams’ who will properly resource what we do as a Church.

Outputs from W3 days will be:
  • Knowledge – Increased knowledge of what the Bible says about worship, current trends in worship etc.
  • Experience – Greater experience of working with other like-minded people; learning from other’s experience
  • Skill – A series of tips on how to do what you do better. Where appropriate and where possible to work further with a ‘buddy’ who will meet up with you and give you pointers to improve
  • Service – Indication of where you can serve in the life of the Church
Basically, if anyone wants to be involved, this is where they need to come on three Saturdays per year.
