Passover Worship & Prayer Evening
On Thursday 21 April, at 8pm, you are invited to join us at the Vineyard Centre for an evening of Prayer & Worship.
This time we’ll be focusing on Passover and the Easter story, so it should be a really special evening. In the Prayer Room we’ll remember how the children of Israel painted the blood of a lamb round their door posts. We remember that the God of today is the same God – He still offers protection, healing and deliverance.
Around various other parts of the building you’ll find the Stations of the Cross and a traditional Passover food table. We’ll also have current newspapers to help us to intercede for our nation and the rest of the world, a place to write down any burden that you’re carrying and seek the Lord’s help, prayer for marriages (look out for the confetti!), a contemporary slant on the crown of thorns, and all sorts of other displays to help you not only to intercede, but also to come quietly and peacefully into God’s presence. This is a time when we hope that God will speak prophetically so remember to keep a listening ear.
As usual the band will play throughout the evening (until 9.30 p.m.) and you can stand and worship, sit and listen, have a cuppa, or wander round the building at your leisure.
This is a really relaxing and refreshing way to spend time with God and with each other. Look forward to seeing you there.
