Small groups

Places where you can know and be known. Housegroups are brilliant at providing space for growing as a follower of Jesus and becoming a part of this community of faith by making friends, sharing lives and praying for each other. If you haven't already found one, we do urge you to try some out. The young people have their own groups too.

A change of support for small groups: Over the past few years, Ben & Kate have done a wonderful job of growing and establishing a healthy bunch of housegroups. A number of new ones, including a new group for young people, are planned to start in the next few months - we will announce them soon.

However, as Ben and Kate take on other responsibilities in the church we have asked Nik & Maggie Gee to take over supporting and equipping housegroups. This, along with the support of almost anything that could be defined as a small group of people will be Nik’s primary work focus from now on.

Plans are still being formed so until you hear differently things will carry on much as before with housegroup leaders being overseen in clusters and with the cluster leaders reporting to Nik and Maggie. We anticipate that the handover from Ben & Kate will take some time so if you have any questions or thoughts please feel free to speak to Ben, Kate, Nik or Maggie.
