At the last Weekly Worship of the season, the theme was Building Bridges. As illustrated with Duplo...

Junk modelling...

Gluing and sticking...

teamwork...

and chat...

And put together it makes...

How do we build bridges? We heard stories of people at Wharfedale Vineyard using their everyday ordinary lives to build bridges with people who we know and people we don't know. Examples of this were: joining a Salsa band (it required an audition), joining a knitting group, playing football with dads from school, doing gardening for a lady in need in the neighbourhood.
We do this because we want to both bless people and give them an opportunity to build a bridge with God.
Over August, we would encourage you to build bridges with people through your everyday life, by building relationships and doing life together while asking God to be involved. Romans 12 verses 1 & 2 (The message version is great) can help and inspire you with all of this.
Have a great summer and we look forward to hearing your stories in September.
