Aid for Zambia
This Sunday is one of the last chances to make any donations of these things for the team to take out to Zambia. It's also an opportunity to give us any little treats to take to Emily Marshall who is in Zambia until November. Thank you so much for all of the support that we have had already.
The team from Wharfedale who are heading to Zambia leave on the 24 July. There are 11 of us going, including Emily who is already there. We have been given a list of items to take with us to leave out there at the various projects which we visit. We have also just found out that we each have 46kg of luggage allowance! So, while there is a limit to how much we can each physically carry, we would like to take the opportunity to bless the people of Zambia with some gifts!
If you have any of these items which you can donate, please do contact one of the team or drop them in (labelled 'ZAMBIA') at the Vineyard Centre or bring them to weekly worship by the 18 July and we will pack them in our luggage! If you have any questions about what is the most suitable please contact Michelle Harrison who has been to Zambia before and understands what is needed.
Thank you!
