chords(previous events) Guitar Playing Workshop - 10 May

On Monday 10 May, 7.45pm at the Vineyard Centre, we will be holding a workshop for guitarists who lead worship in housegroups.

Who is invited?

If you are currently playing guitar in a housegroup, whether that's regularly or only now and then, or if you lead worship in any other small group setting i.e. Women Rock, Bob's meetings, Roly-Polys, prayer meetings, etc, or if you're hoping to do so soon, then you are very welcome to come along!

Hopefully we'll have a good range of skill levels across the group, from quite experienced players to brand-new beginners - please don't count yourself out if you don't think you're good enough.

What will we do?

We will explore some of the basic techniques, have a look at some hints and tips on playing chords, how to create sets, etc, and also how using a capo will majorly increase the number of songs you can play! There will also be space to ask any questions you have.

I'd also like to provide an opportunity for us to play through a couple of songs together, so don't forget to bring your guitars!

If you can't make this one, please get in touch and I'll make sure you know when the next workshop will be.

If you are able to come, please let Nik Gee know by using the form below, or contact the office.

I'd love to come to the workshop
