What do I do

I am employed part time; my role is overseeing the group of activities we call "Family", which mainly means helping the core leaders of Vineyard Kids, and running the youth ministry known as T4:12 with a team. I spend a lot of time planning and communicating with young people, I love investing time in the girls especially. I spend quite a bit of time in the office but sometime work from home if I need somewhere a bit quieter to pray or plan.

Recently I have been working with Vicki King (Pre school) and Liz Harden (FNP) in their roles.

Background

I am a real Yorkshire lass! Born in Harrogate and lived in Leeds since I was 3. I was brought up in a Christian family, being members of Harrogate and Moortown Baptist churches. I met Ian my husband of 3 years when we were 15 at Allerton High School in Alwoodley. I have been part of Wharfedale for 6 years as an employee. I started as a trainee Youth Pastor and am now an Assistant Pastor. I trained with Oasis through Staffordshire University doing a Youth Work and Ministry degree, finally finishing in July 2009; I had my graduation in London on 4th Oct 2009. Finally people who know me well will know that I have a problem with balance, so I struggle to put my socks on unless I sit down. Ian has seen me make a complete fool of myself on mornings when I am not quiet awake!
