Light On the Streets
Over the Christmas Period a number of people went out to deliver presents and food bags stuffed with seasonal gooodies to the guys that sell the Big Issue. Over the years a number of relationships have been built up and we were really struck by one of the Big Issue Sellers who described us as lights! It's so encouragng that God opened this guys eyes to see what was going on.
Isaiah 58:10
" if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,
then your light will rise in the darkness"
For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
