Women rock from Mel to Sally

Melanie Rogers is handing over the coordination of Women Rock activities to Sally Wallace.

Says Mel, "I've really enjoyed seeing Women Rock grow over the past few years and I hope things continue to develop as I take a break and hand over to Sally. Those who know me well have seen how busy my life has been: recently I have felt God challenge me to learn to Be instead of always Doing."

A big thank you to Mel for coordinating the last three Women Rock weekends away, adventure days, red tent, meals out, arts and crafts days, pamper evenings and all the rest.

Says Sally, "We have a fantastically creative and talented bunch of women in the Vineyard, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what emerges in the next phase of Women Rock".

The Women Rock programme restarts in the new year.

Looking ahead, a key event will be the Women Rock Weekend Away on 15-16 May 2010. Booking will open in January, but it is possible to start a savings plan already if that is useful for you. Contact the office for details.

I know i haven't been to many of the events Mel, but i have seen how much it has blessed the women and given them opportunities to encourage, be encouraged, flourish and go on a journey together. Thank you for the superb way you have gathered and facilitated and just been your wonderful self.

I know it will continue to be fantastic in Sally's wonderful hands and she will continue to take us all on the next part of women rocks journey.
