Wharfedale Vineyard Christmas Choir 2009
For the Carol Service on 20 December, we will be continuing the tradition of the Wharfedale Christmas Choir. Joining in is a great way to get to know people, and singing is a surprisingly fulfilling thing we can do as a team together – so do consider coming along. To join in, you don’t need to have any experience or a wonderful voice – you just need to be able to hold a tune. We’ve arranged practices on a range of different days to accommodate different commitments. Don’t worry if you can’t attend every practice (I recommend a minimum of three out of five).
You might be surprised how many people have sung in choirs at school and would love the opportunity to be involved – so do consider inviting your friends and neighbours to come and sing with you. The choir is an easy way to invite others to come and see something of what the Wharfedale Vineyard is about.
This year we have the exciting opportunity to bless the wider community with our singing. We will be singing carols at an Old People’s Home in Otley (13 December at 3pm) and for the On the Streets Banquet for homeless people (19 December at 4pm).

4 Sing to the LORD, you saints of his; praise his holy name.
