Weds 14 Oct 09 in Bradford is "Teenagers! What Every Parent Has to Know", an event by Rob Parsons and the Care for the Family team

Rob writes:
Whether or not teenage rebellion is an issue for you, I would love you to join me for an evening I will be presenting soon – Teenagers! What Every Parent Has to Know. Together, we'll discover how both you and your teenager can survive those turbulent years.

But this event isn't just for parents – it's for everyone who cares about teenagers. It's ideal for grandparents, carers, teachers and youth workers – in fact, anyone who talks to teenagers.

Teenagers! What Every Parent Has to Know is taking place at Hilton Bradford Hotel, Hall Ings, Bradford BD1 5SH on Wednesday 14 October

The evening will start at 7.30pm and finish at 10.00pm. Tickets cost just £6.

At Friday Night Parents, people were asking about Freemind, the free mind-mapping software that my son Mark used to create a mindmap of "other things to do" than computer. Here's the link.

I'm currently reading the church copy of "The Parenting Book" by Nicky and Sila Lee. I've nearly finished it so if you would like to borrow it, I'll put it back upstairs in the 'library' bit at the Vineyard Centre.
