Housegroups news September 2009

There are a few changes to housegroups from September 2009, and if you have not got a housegroup it is a great time to find a place to "know and be known".

One Housegroup – Now two

Starting from September two new housegroups are being launched out of the Newman's housegroup; James and Karen Garvican (Horsforth) on Tuesday nights and Ian and Hannah Ripping (Moortown) on Thursday nights.  It is great to see these leaders and groups emerge.  The Garvicans and Rippings both have excellent vision, ideas, comfy sofas, coffee, tea and refreshments (we have tested this), so do check them out.  As for the Newman housegroup,  that is closing as our housegroup will be with Leadership School from September.  Thanks also to Matt and Anne Button for hosting and leading their group which is stopping after an excellent year.

If you are not in a housegroup, please do try one (or several). Browse the photo-index in the left column of the housegroups website. The photos may help you recognise some of the leaders when you see them at weekend events. Or try the interactive map to find your nearest housegroup.

It is usually best to give the leaders a call to confirm where and when they are meeting and try them out, or you can ring the office 0113 245 9111 for a general overview.
