The men of the Vineyard are once again taking an Autumn weekend break to retreat to Swarthghyll Farm. All men are invited to join Bob for the weekend. In previous years those who have come along have found the experience of great value – it is a great opportunity to take time out, reflect on important issues and build relationships.
The price for the weekend is £55 per person (which does not include additional entertainment or activities) and concessions are available if funds are in short supply – don’t let money stop you from joining us! Please contact Steve Nixon for details.
How to book
If you would like to join Bob for the weekend then please click on this link which will take you to our new booking system. We've had a couple of problems with the booking system, so if it doesn't work for you, please email the office. There is an option to come just for the day on the Saturday for £25, if this is something you would prefer to do then please contact the office on 0113 245 9111. Bob’s rough idea for the weekend:
Friday evening:
Meet at Swarthghyll Farm Activity Centre around 8.00pm (eat at home first). A short session to welcome everyone and then there will be time to chat & relax in the bar.
Saturday morning:
Breakfast then worship and input from Andy Larkin
Saturday afternoon:
Light lunch then a walk or some other optional activity (which may involve a cost)
Saturday evening:
Dinner then discussion led by Andy Larkin followed by a film or other entertainment
Sunday morning:
Breakfast then worship and communion and input from Andy Larkin
Leave for home after Sunday lunch
