(previous events) Songwriters' Evening - 19 April

As part of the worship life here in the Vineyard, we feel it's really important to sing honest songs that express our response to God from the heart of our community.

One of the ways this can be expressed is through songs we've written ourselves. There is an authenticity that comes from singing songs that express the heart's cry of those who stand beside us in housegroup or on Sundays, or how we're wrestling with where God is taking us as a community.

Our Songwriter's evenings are aimed at supporting and encouraging this!
We meet every couple of months to play new songs that we've written and also ones that we're still working on - and, every now and again, we find we discover something in one of our songs that might work for others too.

Meeting at 8pm, on Monday 19 April, at Alex & Lucy Holt's house.

It’s not a ‘song panel’ where we score each others songs, or decide if they’re good enough or not!
It's a creative forum where we can positively influence each others songs.
