 Vocal Workshop - Tuesday 18 November 08
We wanted to express how highly we value the vocalists at Wharfedale Vineyard.
It can occasionally feel that there is more focus on instruments (especially during practices or soundchecks) and that sometimes it is easy for singers to feel a little undervalued - which is definitely not the case!
One of the things we have planned to address this is an evening of vocal training to help us to sing as best as we can and to hopefully give us some tools to sing with more confidence.
Peridot Hill, a talented singing coach, will be coming to spend an evening with us - giving practical advice and teaching.
This will cover things such as warm-up exercises, microphone technique, blending vocals, and also the opportunity to practice singing alongside those we already sing with in regular worship bands.
It will be held on Tuesday 18 November at the Vineyard Centre at 7.45pm and is open to those in the worship team (including anyone currently taking a break) and anyone who is leading worship in housegroups.
