Caring For Life

Last year we were asked to put forward charities that we thought should receive some of the 20% that was set aside from the STEPS project. One of the criteria for this was that we would be willing to act as a champion for the charity within the Wharfedale Vineyard. I chose Caring for Life a fantastic local charity that provides practical and pastoral support to disadvantaged men and women across Leeds. One of their main objectives is to share Jesus' love to all they meet.

In August I, along with old Wharfedalian Pete Button hope to cycle the length of mainland Britain (940 miles) in 12 days. By doing this I hope to raise the profile of this wonderful organisation, which provides us all with opportunities to get involved in their work (volunteering, prayer, Gap years, financially).  I also aim to raise some money for them and if you feel able I would like to invite you to use my web site and sponsor me.
