Sally's story

When I was a child my big sister introduced me to church. I started to do the things I was taught, but I was doing it like following rules. As a teenager I was befriended by a family who talked to God very naturally and believed he could change real life situations.

I realised that freedom and change in my life was a gift from God to receive rather than something I could achieve by my effort. I have found that being part of a community of people who follow Jesus and regularly putting God first in my life gives my life meaning and helps me deal with all sorts of real life situations.
