Christmas Tree Collection - Jan 2008
Once again this year, Nik and Maggie's housegroup (and friends) took part in collecting Christmas trees from people in the surrounding community where we live.
We delivered flyers to all our neighbours to let them know we'd collect all of their trees free of charge. The council provided us with a skip.
We had great fun (both adults and kids) collecting the trees, sawing them up and dumping & jumping on them in the skip!
As always, our aim was to show people God's love in a very simple way. We just wanted to bless as many people as possible - no hidden agendas, no preaching, just Love in Action. |
